One of the historic milestones for the Anima Aeterna project was Saturday, February 7, 2026. During this gala evening, the musical work created by Andrea Buttignon came to life for the first time before an audience, marking a historic turning point and celebrating the cultural identity of the Territory through an original symphonic-choral composition.
The performance of the work was entrusted to an ensemble of excellence, capable of translating the power of the score into sound:
THE ANIMA AETERNA ORCHESTRA: The orchestral ensemble specially formed for the project, composed of professionals and the best talents from local music schools.
THE CONDUCTOR: Maestro Rudy Fantin. The renowned musician and arranger conducted the orchestra in the world premiere of the work.
THE CHOIRS: The voices of the historical choral institutions of the local territory gave voice to the work’s Latin text: Multifariam, Polivoice, Audite Juvenes, Monteverdi, Natissa, and The NuVoices Project.
THE LOCAL PRESENTERS: The event was hosted by Evgen Ban and Tjasa Dornik, figures who represent the face and the voice of the region and of Slovenia.
The event was recorded for future television broadcast, allowing the community and the general public to enjoy this exclusive premiere at a later date. The footage from the concert, which captured the emotion of the debut, will be included in the Anima Aeterna Docufilm.
