The debut in Gorizia marks the beginning of an artistic and spiritual journey aimed at rediscovering the most significant places in regional history and culture. Anima Aeterna was born as a choral and itinerant work, designed to integrate into different contexts — from the historic architecture of cathedrals to the linearity of modern auditoriums. The project presents itself as a universal language of rebirth, capable of translating the heritage of Christian roots into a shared vision of European identity.
Throughout 2026, the project will develop a series of exclusive events within the regional territory of Friuli Venezia Giulia. These concerts will represent a tribute to the lands that gave birth to the work: fundamental stages that will touch centers of excellence such as Trieste, Pordenone, and the historic villages that define the region’s identity. Each performance will be an opportunity to consolidate the bond between the author’s music and the local community, making the work a shared and accessible heritage.
In harmony with the cross-border spirit of GO! 2025 and in anticipation of the international appointments of 2027, Anima Aeterna aims to transcend national borders. The project’s ambition is to bring the complete symphony to the main European cities, presenting itself as a cultural ambassador of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
The goal is to create a musical dialogue with the great capitals of Europe, where the sacredness of the Latin text and the power of the symphony orchestra can become interpreters of the universal Christian values of tradition, peace and brotherhood. The international tour will represent the full maturation of the project, transforming an intuition born in the heart of Friuli Venezia Giulia into a reference point for contemporary symphonic culture on the continent.
